We’ve deemed that this feature is critical going forward and have plans to implement it.
Should also note: we’re making a lot of UX improvements to the log browser as-is. Thus far we’ve added sortability to all columns, ability to view full exception details on-demand without having to drill in, and we’re adding support to dynamically load more log entries as you page through it.
If we instrument all the page entry and exits instrumentation, MarkedUp dashboard should give us user paths through the app. This would alleviate the need to try to hack custom events to track the path. This is extremely powerful in helping us understand how a user uses the app.47 votes
This is a planned addition to the platform – currently reviewing technical requirements to add this.
Right now I either need to open a ton of new windows (one for each log entry I want to see), or click an entry, go back in browser (which takes a while to refresh) and click the next log entry. Both of those options are time consuming.
It would be nice to be able to go to an entry, then just click a previous button to scan backwards.1 vote
We’re working on adding support for this in an upcoming release. We agree that this will make the log browser much easier to use. Stay tuned.
